The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is seeking an undergraduate level (Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Recent college graduate) with a preferred major in Economics, Quantitative Social Science or History. You must have experience and interests in both quantitative social sciences and history. This opening may be hybrid and will consider remote candidates as well. The work schedule is Monday – Friday (40 hour per week). This is a 10-week paid internship. The hourly rate for this position is £31.00 per hour.
Intern project:
NOTE: This will be a split position supporting 2 Economists
- You will support creating database of vehicle registrations covering 1900-2019. The primary tasks include finding, researching, and requesting historical sources of vehicle data, digitizing these documents if not already digitized, and performing quality control and cleaning.
- You will be creating economic data to study housing affordability, particularly wage series for women’s occupations from newspaper classified sections.
