DESCRIPTION:
The role of a Fulfillment Center is to get product to the customer as fast as possible and is a critical function within our Logistics. The role you’ll play is having the opportunity to positively impact thousands of customers worldwide and drive Newegg forward through leading special projects within operations to develop business initiatives and operational excellence.
- Processing each order completely and accurately
- Packing the orders in a safe, effective and efficient manner; verifying order accuracy by order number, product quantity and shipping each order
- Ensure special safety precautions and/or equipment is maintained
- Awareness of storage techniques and locations, space allocation, & stock rotation.
- Sort and prepare merchandise for RMA request.
- Create and manage vendor and internal transfer documentation
- Prepare merchandise for shipping with necessary and correct documentation.
- Responsible for the verification and accuracy of all outgoing shipments
- Responsible for loading packages onto carriers as needed.
- Responsible for physical inventory count in assigned area.
- Test and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
- Provide driver information for merchandise to relevant departments.
- Supporting technical support activities between outbound and vendors.
