About the Role
We are looking for Graduates with a Civil or Structural Engineering BEng or MEng degree to join our in-house engineering team at B&K Hybrid Solutions in 2023. We are highly interested in candidates who have a passion for the built environment and can demonstrate both talent and commitment to the field. Applicants should possess sound technical skills, be passionate about their work, and demonstrate creative thinking at all stages of the design life. Communication skills are key to the role, and we are looking for Graduates who are willing to become an integrated member of our growing design team.
As a Graduate Engineer you will be given the unique opportunity to develop your technical skills from day one, taking responsibility of the structural design of projects from conception to completion. You will be required to collaborate closely with all members of the team – both internal and external – to ensure our solutions are fully coordinated with the architecture and M&E engineering. You will also be responsible for the production of drawings, specifications and reports at each stage of the technical design, and you will be encouraged to spend time away from the office, attending site visits and meetings, to allow you the opportunity to fully understand every stage of the project.
We encourage all Graduates to gain experience through a variety of projects, allowing you the best opportunity to develop as an aspiring engineer, and expect them to actively seek accreditation with either the IStructE or ICE. - Keep your mind and body, relaxed.
- Never try to give a long answer to an interview question. Keep your answer short and effective.
- If you don’t know the answer to any question, do not try to mislead the interviewer because he knows everything. Here your answer should be just some simple words “Sorry Sir/Ma’am, I do not know the answer”.
- Your dress should be formal. The formal dress always leaves a good impact on the interviewer.
