DESCRIPTION:
The Role
A. M. Phillip Trucktech Ltd is recruiting for a Parts Sales Advisor for our busy workshop near Forfar.
This is an office-based role that would suit an individual with prior knowledge and understanding of the automotive stores/parts department environment and experience in the ordering of parts, client customer service and the allocation of items to and from the shop floor. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a fresh challenge with a dynamic and rapidly growing company.
The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
· Dealing with customer’s enquiries and request in person and via phone & email.
- Ordering, booking out parts, invoicing and taking payment.
- Checking in parts deliveries as required.
- Managing parts stock.
- Building & Maintaining supplier relationships.
- Liaising with the Workshop, Service Advisors and Customers.
- Providing quotations.
- Parts delivery as required during holiday cover.

The Person
The key skills and experience of a Parts Sales Advisor are:
- Previous Parts department experience.
- Strong understanding of a Mechanical/Automotive environment.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Customer Service skills.
- IT literacy
- A current full driving License.
