Job Overview:Scalesforth is seeking an experienced and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to lead our operations in Ghana. As a Supply Chain Manager at Scalesforth, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing our supply chain processes to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and seamless coordination across all stages of the supply chain.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with the company’s objectives and growth plans.
\nManage and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan procurement, and ensure timely delivery of products to meet customer needs.
\nAnalyze market trends, industry developments, and technological advancements to proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
\nMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supply chain performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners to negotiate favorable terms and ensure the reliability of the supply chain network.
\nLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
\nRequired Skills:<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
\nProven experience of at least 5 years in supply chain management, with a track record of successful process optimization and team leadership.
\nIn-depth understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, procurement, and inventory management.
\nStrong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
\nProficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make informed decisions under pressure.
