DESCRIPTION:
- E Park and Sons Limited are a leading packer and wholesaler of fresh potatoes to many blue chip retail customers and food processors.
- An opportunity has arisen for an outstanding, enthusiastic Engineer to join our team based at our state of the art factory in Epworth, Doncaster.
- We are looking for an electrically biased Engineer, who is competent mechanically and used to working in a fast paced environment.
- The main purpose of the role is to use both electrical and mechanical engineering skills and experience to attend breakdowns and carry out planned maintenance to enhance the performance of our plant and equipment.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
· Take ownership for the quality of repairs and maintenance carried out in the day-to-day running of the department to ensure production service levels are maintained.
· Ensure the maintenance schedule is adhered to and Update PPM details using knowledge and experience of the equipment
· Diagnose faults and engineer out repeat occurrences
· Ensure daily breakdown reports are completed
· Work in partnership with the production team to ensure optimum output.
· To ensure that the day-to-day hygiene and housekeeping standards are met.
· Understand and promote the company Health and Safety policy and promote a safe working environment culture
Qualifications
· Time served or Apprentice Trained Engineer.
· NVQ, BTEC, City and Guilds Level 3
· Experience within a Fast-paced Manufacturing Environment desirable but not essential.
· You will need to be a team player and have a passion for learning.
Package:
- This is a full time permanent position working a 4 on 4 off 12 hour shift system.

- Salary from £38,416 depending on skills, qualifications and experience, plus pension.
