Position Summary
- This position supports AETNA Health by providing desktop support to include technical advice, guidance, and informal training to customers using hardware and software programs. Desktop support for three locations in the area within 5 miles of each other. Has a minimum of 3 years IT experience in a support role. Aetna Work From Home Jobs UK
- Independently Troubleshoots and restores routine and advanced technical service and equipment problems by analyzing, identifying and diagnosing faults and symptoms using established processes and procedures. Proactively monitors and performs preventative maintenance. Aetna Work From Home Jobs UK
- Perform necessary diagnostic, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for hardware and software problems using predetermined methods. Able to identify and escalate to appropriate second level groups; collaborate to identify root cause. Creates checklists and procedures for problem control and prevention.
- Work in a team setting, sharing information. Designated SME for assigned areas/functions of the business and other technical teams.
- Responds, resolves, and documents service tickets in a timely manner according to service level agreements or assigned completion dates. - Provide 24 x 7 on-call support as assigned. Provide rotating weekend coverage as required.
- Work independently without direction of teammates or manager to complete work orders and trouble tickets for end users.

- Required Qualifications
Associates degree or A+, MCTS or OS Certifications and 2+ years of experience in desktop support role. - Preferred Qualifications

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. If no degree, then 1 year of experience is required for each year of college not attained.
Pay Range
- The typical pay range for this role is:
- £30.52 – £36.78
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
